Twin Sprints Anchor Saturday’s Boys and Girls Club Night
Meridian Speedway is proud to host Boys and Girls Club Night presented by Meridian Automotive this Saturday, June 17, at the quarter-mile asphalt oval. The Teleperformance Claimer Stocks, Winged Pepsi Crate Cars, College of Western Idaho Super Stocks and High School Tuners, and Six Shooters are on tap for a thrilling night of short track racing.
Fierce competition has been the Teleperformance Claimer Stock way thus far in 2017. Saturday night these rough-and-tumble racers take two 25 lap shots at the Concrete Jungle in hopes of positioning themselves for the brutal summer stretch to come.
The Pepsi Crate Cars throw a wing on it Saturday as the division adds an extra twist to their exciting brand of racing. Who can adjust to the aerodynamic addition and sprint to victory?
The College of Western Idaho Super Stocks return to Meridian Speedway this Saturday for a NASCAR Division II showdown. Ben Crow used an early surge to race his way onto the Dee Forrey and Don VanSchoiak Memorial Trophy last Saturday, but now has to defend his victory against Melissa Arte, Daniel Johnson, and the rest of a hungry pack.
Action in the College of Western Idaho High School Tuner ranks has ratcheted up since school let out. Who can race their way to the top of the Pepsi-Cola scoreboard this Saturday night?
Boys and Girls Club Night presented by Meridian Automotive also features the Clarity Credit Union Gold Rush for Kids and the Six Shooters in a midseason grudge match.
General admission to all of Saturday night’s festivities is just $11 for adults, $8.50 for seniors and military members, and $6.50 for kids 7-11.
