Modified Double Headlines Ladies Night at Meridian Speedway

The thrills and spills continue Saturday, May 5, as Meridian Speedway hosts Ladies Night. The PitStopUSA.com NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modifieds, Coors Super Stocks, Domino’s Legends, Teleperformance Claimer Stocks, and Junior Stingers come together as they dash for the Shake N’ Bake Racing hardware.
After an action-packed shootout, the PitStopUSA.com NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modifieds reload for a Ladies Night double header. Bryan Warf sped to the top of the modified heap with Saturday night’s win, but faces heavy pressure from fellow top-five point runners Chris Fenton, brothers Larry and Jonathan Hull, and defending division champion Colton Nelson.
Coors Super Stocks point leader Pat Tully capitalized on defending champion Melissa Arte’s struggles to claim the first checkered flag of the young season. Arte’s march up the standings begins under the lights this Saturday.
The youth movement is in full swing as the Domino’s Legends return to the quarter-mile for their third event. Ethan Jones has had the measure of the field thus far, but Zach Telford, Evan Brown, and Brok Kidd look to give Jones their best shot Saturday.
A full field of Teleperformance Claimer Stocks rumble into Meridian Speedway set for another rough and tumble contest. Veteran campaigners Pat Tully and Todd Seaver have company in the form of young Kendra Occhipinti, who has raced her way up the standings and sits poised to make it a three car fight for the championship lead.
Cody Castricone and Rusty Houpt renew their rivalry Saturday as Meridian Speedway’s youngest competitors return to the track. Who will ace the Junior Stinger division’s second test of 2018?
Saturday also features the season debut of Clarity Credit Union’s Penny Gold Rush.
General admission to Saturday’s festivities is free for ladies of all ages, and just $11.50 for adults, $9 for seniors and military members, and $6.50 for kids 7-11. As always, kids 6 and under get in free.
