The roar of race engines will replace the buzz of lawnmower motors this weekend at Meridian Speedway as the track opens its 63rd season with the first of three Test and Tune sessions this Saturday, April 5th. Gates will open at 11 am, with cars hitting the track at noon. Practice runs will continue until 6 pm.
Race fans eager for short track action can attend these Test and Tune sessions free of charge. A full host of concessions, including Pepsi products, speedway hot dogs, Budweiser, Coors and Miller beers, will be available all day at the pit-side concession stand.
Drivers interested in a pre-season shakedown will be charged a $25 car and driver fee. Technical inspection will be available for those looking to save time and hassle on race day.
